Offered here is a veryNICE VINTAGE GRISWOLD CAST IRON SKILLET, NUMBER 8, WITH THE SMALL ROUNDLOGO-LATE HANDLE AND PATTERN NUMBER OF 704S. ThisGRISWOLD SKILLET was manufactured between 1944-1957. The skillet's cooking surface issmooth in most places, but blotchy from old baked oncooking grease. There is a spot with very light residue and some stain marksin the iron. With use, the skillet's color will become uniform and seasoning will make the pan smooth and sick-free. There are no chips or cracks.The number "8" is cast on the handle and the skillet is very heavy. The diameter at the top edge of the skillet measures 10-1/2 inches.The skillet sits flatwith just the very slightest of wobble. This would make a great user skillet, or add it to yourANTIQUE CAST IRON COOKWARE COLLECTION.
