It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my late parents home & contents on Cape Cod.... but I am moving to Mo and can't take everything with me, only the memories...... This was my mothers Griswold Cast Iron corn bread pan..... ( although she used it for Italian breadsticks )......... She had a different Griswold corn stick pan that she used for cornbread.....They received a set of cast iron cookware when they got married and used them daily until they became ill and couldn't lift them any more..... This corn bread pan is a large #22 - #954, super clean ( as all of her cast iron is ) and Seasoned. You can make 11 breadsticks at once in this pan and let me tell you, I've never tasted anything that could compare to them, fresh out of the oven.....There is no crud, baked on food, or carbon buildup on it. It is ready to join your kitchen the day it is received. It sits flat on a hard surface without any wobble, It is 14 1/2" long, 7 1/2" wide and stands 7/8" high.The back of this bread pan is marked:No 22GriswoldCornbread panErie Penn U.S.A.954. The inside cooking surface is super smooth to the feel with no pocks or pitting. There is a bit of mottling of the seasoning that can be seen in the pictures.
