For auction is a Griswold oval roaster #7. From one handle to the other it measures, 18 1/2". The base has the block Griswold marks and the numbers, 7 and also, 647. The cover also has the block Griswold markings inside and the #7 and the #648. At the top and bottom of the round Griswold mark, (inside the lid), I can see and feel little square gate marks that correspond with the attached handle on the top. Outside the lid are raised letters that only say, "Oval / Roaster". The top has little bump-outs on each end, I do not know what purpose these serve it's just an observation. Also included is the correct and original trivet, it reads, "the Griswold Mfg. Co. Erie, Pa. USA" / Oval Roaster Trivet / 7/ 276". All parts, the base, lid and trivet are in good condition with NO cracks, breaks, chips or anything else that plagues cast iron cookware!
