An 1:64 scale resin model of an MGB Racer in Red with blackinterior. George Turner (GT) was a well-known and prolific model designer and pattern maker for many companies including Corgi, Matchbox and Lledo. He produced GT Model Petite models from 1988 in very limited numbers. This range of 1.64 scale resin model cars are of very high quality and these superb little models are highly sought after and some are very rare. It is my understanding that only 6 examples of this particular model were produced. See website. This model was built from a kit and is in red with black interior and tonneau cover. The car is in racing trim and carries race number “2”. It is mounted on a hardwood base with an MGB brass effect plate and comes in a beautifully made white card box with a GT Model Petite sticker. The model is well built and in mint condition. The box is in excellent condition but has some very, very light scuffing.
