This is another beautiful item, An Original and Genuine Antique American Twin Pedestal & Kneehole Panelled Desk, in Quartersawn Oak, w/ Deep File Drawer, 7 Others Incl Lap Drawer & 2 Pull-Out Writing Tablets, Made by Gunn, w/ Orig Logo, Dating to c.1900..! It is a wonderful desk, and a very old one, see 6 pics above and fully 18 below. Of richly-grained quartersawn oak, it features an extremely useful flat top supported on two pedestals that flank a central arched lap-drawer. The left-hand pedestal houses four drawers, the bottom one being deeper than those above, whilst the right-hand pedestal is home to 2 lockable drawers over the double-depth file drawer. Both pedestals are true-panelled, and the desk retains its original 'GUNN' triangular logo on the bottom of the lap drawer.
