This is an ornately engraved work of art from premiere knife maker H.H. Frank. He made this knife in July of 1975 and used the knife as a display in the Kansas City Show, August 15-18, 1975.Heinrich "Henry" Frank was one of the first to engrave folders, and he is known for his quality and workmanship. Frank Whitefish MT" and "July 1975" can be found on either side, close to the handle. The knife was a custom order, and on one of the handle inlays, the name "Hopper" is engraved. The knife has been displayed in a case, virtually untouched for over a decade. The locklever and spring are not completely fluid to the touch, so t could possibly be slight corrosion inside. A proper collector will want to disassemble, polish and reassemble. I had read more
