Hans Von ( H.V.) Kaltenborn (1878-1965), American radio commentator, heard on the radio for over 30 years. Kaltenborn is known never to read from a script. He started his career in 1928 with CBS and in 1940 went to NBC. During those years he covered the Spanish Civil War, the Munich Crisis, and WWII. A Christmas card signed by H.V. Kaltenborn and his wife Olga, Paris- 1944. The card is approx. 5 x 7 inches - 12.5cm x 18cm. It is lightly discolored/soiled and t is a piece of tape along the border at the bottom. (I don't see a tear.)The signed Christmas greeting comes from the archives of the noted Raab Collection.
