Sissy Artist Original by Hal Payne Sissy is 6.5 inches and is fully poseable. She is all porcelain except for a small section of the upper arms and legs where a wire armature is incorporated into the porcelain body which allows the porcelain limbs to be posed in varied positions. She wears a white nautical dress and matching hat accented with black ribbon and black and white striped stockings. Sissy has a mohair wig, hand painted features and is finely detailed down to her leather shoes and tiny porcelain buttons. Sissy is number 17 of an edition of 500. Sissy is a Hal Payne Original and is not one of the resin figurines designed by Hal Payne and mass produced in 1998. She comes in her original box with certificate and is signed and numbered on her back by Hal Payne. Hal Payne wrote a story about his creations that adds even more charm to these little kids. Hidden in the attic is an old trunk filled with Grandma’s memories. Among the photos and lace lies a most wondrous box. A tin chest filled with marvelous treasures…Buttons. Buttons saved and collected over generations. Buttons from relatives long forgotten. Buttons passed from mother to daughter and played with by countless generations of exploring children.
