This wonderful, Halcyon Days, enamel box has the Old Spring House, a symbol for the resort, and the source of its' healing waters, flanked by tall pines. "The Greenbrier" is below it, in black script, with red and yellow tulips in front. Since 1778 visitors have come for the sulphur springs. The 11,000 acre, luxury resort, located in the Allegheny Mountains, in West Virginia, has hosted many presidents and dignitaries, and includes a bunker, built under the hotel in 1950, during the Cold War, to house Congress in case of a nuclear attack. Inside is a bouquet of tulips, tied with a yellow ribbon. The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.1". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival" is on the forest green base. It comes with the presentation case. Insured first class S&H is $9.
