hi, a super half hull model , lovely wood and patina.. Eric Tabarly a famed world sailor sailed these Pen Duick yachts, A visit to his city of sail in Lorient is a must.. Sadly he died whilst sailing in the Irish sea. Its a nice size to display.. the backboard is ..15.5 ins long by 4 ins high......... you can read all about his life on wiki open quote...............Tabarly was born in Nantes on 24 July 1931 to a family of yachting tradition. His parents took him for sailing excursions on their cutter Annie when he was still a baby.
