Dimensions - 86mm L x 55mm W x 30mm tall Weight - 58 grams Visually distinctive, this hand/miniature cabinet halite mineral specimen has sparkling "Raspberry" Pink to clear crystals, with minor tincalconite, seated on sturdy nahcolite. Perfect for a small cabinet/shelf display, it features crystals from micro mount size to 8 mm.It's a perfect decorator accent! This is one of my favorites! Note: I review all offers on Store Inventory items! For Metaphysical Collectors: Halite enhances good will, elevates mood, diminishes negativity. It's been used throughout history as a savory herb, as a preservative, and in spiritual purification rituals. This halite is safe for internal, metaphysical and herbal use. For designer display, we recommend a cabinet, turntable with "bell jar" or cloche to feature the amazing sparkling luster to it's greatest degree. Being at best an amateur photographer, my pictures can't come close to the true beauty of this aesthetic specimen. Collected in Oct. 2009 at the annual Searles Valley Gem-O-Rama, it has been dried thoroughly, and kept out of direct sunlight. This piece should be stored in low light to preserve the color, in a closed cabinet, under a "bell jar" or cloche, with silica gel desiccant, to protect the crystals from moisture.
