The lid has a 1" white part that fits down into the tea pot. The tea pot is white on the inside. The tea pot measures approx. 6 1/2" from the handle tot he pourer and 4 1/8" high with the lid's knob. This tea pot appears in the Hall China third edition Collector's book by Margaret & Kevin Whitmyer on page 261. The tea pot is in great condition, a some light utensil marks on the outside.
