For sale is a Christmas ornament sure to touch the hearts of every Baby Boomer. From the Hallmark Keepsake collection, it depicts the famous GAF View-Master 3-D slide viewer, later made by Fisher-Price. These were positively HUGE for two generations of youngsters! And though this ornament is a small rendering (measuring only 2 1/2" x 2" x 2") or the original, IT ACTUALLY IS A WORKING MODEL. In fact, 3 picture reels are included! Each depicts scenes from the 1958 View-Master classic, "The Night Before Christmas." (Given the diminutive dimensions of this mini-model, it is difficult for get both eyes into the viewing lenses, so the 3-D effect or the originals is hard to see. But a wee one in your life may love it!) Besides, this is mostly intended for display as an ornament. (Please note that one of the reels ships loaded into the viewer. The other 2 are in a small reel holder - see pics.)This was taken out of original, opened box for inspection and photos, but is new. Original price tab still on box
