I'm not sure how old the devil's face is. I purchased it as an antique or collectable approx. 18 years ago at an Antique Show. It's been packed away for almost as many years since my husband didn't like it. The glass is a very dark red and very well detailed The face is approx. 9" long and approx.4 1/2" high at the chin. The face is in very good condition; however, t are some straw or mold marks and t what appears to be a scratch on the right hand side at the bottom. The face is mounted on a very think piece of wood,. which looks like it may have come from an old cupboard top. T is a light mounted on the board and the cord has a taped spot and should be replaced. I've never seen this item in any book or any other show. Consequently, I don't know the age or the mfg. The orignal price that I paid was $250.00. T are a few small bubbles in the glass.
