This auction is for a set of wood blocks made by the HALSAM Company labled SAFETY BLOCKS. The box side has patent dates and numbers with 1926 being the last date. These are the 1 5/16 blocks and they have two corners of a brick structure so these blocks could be used with sets that were just for setting up buildings. Two of the other sides of these blocks have differing colored letters so of the 20 blocks all 26 letters should be available. The two remaining sides to these wood blocks have images of animals, birds, fish and tractors, planes,ships with the words spelled out so children had educational toys with this set along with just play blocks. The bottom of the box has separation on one of the flaps on the long side as photographed. These blocks are in used - good to very good condition.
