This is a lovely pair of Tile panels done by Hamilton Tile Co., Ohio. It would have been down the sides in a fireplace surround. It is of a Man and woman musicians dressed of the period. The glaze is a wonderful translucent brown glaze that is quite pretty. The over all condition is good however, it does has minor damage , please see all images. The bottom tile of the man has been broken and reglued. The top and middle tile of man I would call perfect condition. The Lady top tile is perfect , middle has chip on left bottom corner and the bottom tile had a chip that was reglued back on the top right corner. If these were to go back into a frame much of this would be very unnoticible. One tile is marked Hamilton on the back. These date from the 1890's. The measurements are 6" x 18"each. They would look lovely in a frame and would make an instant decorative art for your wall.
