New Original Design by Kevin Prochaska, Glass artist at Disneyland for more than 10 years . This beautifully detailed dragon seems to magically fly on outstretched wings, its fuchsia colored cut-crystal eyes gazing downward at the gifts beneath the tree. The brilliant rainbow of colors is created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten. Weight being of primary concern, the artist chooses to make the dragon of lightweight Borosilicate Crystal. Hanging from a sturdy but delicate metallic gold thread, the dragon measures approximately 4" in length. Designed to sit as well as hang, it makes a wonderful display piece when not being used as an ornament. An attractive gold foil information card is included as well. The artist also has the distinction of creating an assortment of one-of-a-kind Christmas tree ornaments that represented the state of California at the White House during the Reagan administration.
