Here is a Hand Carved Gunning Style Looking Curlew Shore Bird Decoy carved by my myself (Sam McKamie) It is carved with pocket knife and rasp from cedar after I have done the initial sawing and drilling. This little decoy has tack eyes, a hardwood bill, and nice thigh detail. The wings are relief carved and elevated and split at the tail as shown in the pictures. The stand is included. It is painted with a gunning style like those old working decoys of the past. This one measures 15 1/2 inches long, 12 1/4 inches tall and is from 1 1/2 inch stock. This would make a fine addition to any collection! Thanks for looking! sm
