Double your traffic. Old American Impressionist Picture FrameItem : Old American Impressionist style picture frame. With it's fancy corners, this frame would really show off a better-end portrait, landscape or still life painting. It's going to need an approx. 1/2 inch wide liner, so you can use it for an approx. 20 x 24 inch painting. As it stands, the opening is about 21 3/8 x 25 1/2 inches. The frame seems to be water gilded on the most of high points, with red bole beneath, and an umber wash to the meat of the frame adding contrast. Attention International Buyers : The item may be too big to ship to your country... Please contact me for a shipping quote before bidding. Thanks for understanding.Markings : Some writing on back, including old price in wax pencil at 25.00.Age : Undated. Looks to be ca. 1930 more or less, if I had to guess.Condition : Used. May need repairs, touch-in, or gilding per your requirements. There are 2 old tacks where a nameplate probably was. The molding is about 2 3/4 inches wide, so it should measure out to more like 3 inches when a liner is added.Dimensions : Outside measurements: approx. 26 3/8 x 30 3/8 inches.
