A unique Noah's Ark set hand carved and hand painted by the prominent Russian folk artist Alexander Zuev. Only 10 sets like this one were made. Three of them were retailed in fine stores for over $1,000. The body of the ship is composed of four major hand carved wooden parts: body, lower deck, main deck and an upper deck. Dimensions: 16" x 10" x 11" (L x W x H). Total height with the mast pole is 19". The parts are not glued together and are easily removable. There are 26 pairs of animals and Noah with his wife. 11 pairs of figurines are mounted on the boat with wooden pins (not glued, can be removed and interchanged) and 15 pairs are free standing. You can place them on any deck or store them inside the boat under the lower deck.This set is a beautiful and unique decorative item by itself but it is also a great entertaining and a learning tool for kids to study Bible or just to play with. It is very durable. All the pieces are carved from solid wood and there are no glued together parts. Please see my other religious items.
