A hand carved, wooden mask,presumably African. 41cm’s long by 17cm’s wide.Weight 940g. Carved from an unknown dark wood. A face is depicted with a carved elephant above. The elephant once had tusks but these have been removed. The back of the item has clear marks from the chiselling work and these are dark now. The overall condition is very good, no damage worth noting and is a handsome dark brown. There is a small twist of wire for suspension. A handsome decorative item. Postage is £4.60 by Hermes.
