Hand Crank Sewing Machine from 1920 S Victoria Maskinhuset A/S Stavanger Brittish Made for Norwegian market. In really excellent seldom used condition. Perfect stitch forward and rev. The Bentwood case top and sides are made of heavy oak and come with a lock and key. The ORIGINAL handcrank is geared up 3 to 1 for a little more power than the singer handcranks with 4 to 1 gearing. The unusual handcrank is precisley made and seems stronger and higher quality than the singer. There is a boss that will take a motor and braket but no motor or braket is included. The handwheel has a groove to accept a motor belt. The bobbin is standard style 15 large bobbin. The machine is similar to a model 15 with all metal linkage and pinned shafts. Stitch length is 6 to 30 per inch verified today. Bobbin winder works perfectly with a new rubber tire. Sewing leather was easy just a little push to start the crank and it sewed with little effort on the 12oz leather.
