Hand cut wood Jigsaw puzzle, 183 piece, Volunteer Park Conservatory, Seattle This puzzle of the Volunteer Park Conservatory (Seattle WA) is based on my own photography and illustration. The conservatory is a Victorian-style greenhouse modeled on London's Crystal Palace. The City’s Parks Department staff erected the building, completing the work in 1912. It was design by John Charles Olmsted (1852-1920), the stepson of Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903), who designed New York City's Central Park. My puzzles are made by laminating/bonding high-resolution, luster finish, water and fingerprint resistant, archival photo paper to 1/4" 5-ply baltic birch. Once laminated the puzzle is cut by hand on a scroll saw using an ultra-fine blade and then each piece is sanded prior to packaging. The 8 x 18 inch puzzle has 183 pieces that are cut in a random interlocking pattern with a uniquely contoured edge as illustrated. Upon completion it is carefully packaged in 7x2.5" tin along with a signature reference piece of the completed puzzle. This is the first in a series of exclusive fine-art puzzles and is very limited (this might be the only one). You won't be disappointed! A hand cut puzzle of this design and quality will typically run $1.00 to over $2.00 per piece. I accept All payments are due three days after the auction has ended , unless read more
