This jigsaw puzzle has been cut by hand from 5-ply ¼" thick birch plywood. Please study the photos carefully before bidding. The photos are of the actual item being auctioned. While it is new, it is a one-of-a-kind handmade item and may have minor blemishes due to the hand-crafting. I provide clear photos to give the buyer a good idea of what will be delivered, but I do not mention in the text any blemishes that I consider to be minor. If you see a blemish in one of the photos, you should assume that it will be present in the delivered item and bid accordingly. The image was taken from a traditional Japanese chiyogami paper design which I have cropped into a circular format. The puzzle measures 6" in diameter with 151 pieces, including my turtle signature piece which is dated and signed. This circular puzzle will be quite challenging for its size. The puzzle has been cut with a scroll saw using extremely fine blades just .007" thick. These blades are the thinnest that can in practice be used to cut the dense ¼" plywood. Even so, the blades break frequently while cutting.
