HAND GROOVERS - Offered are a pair of #2 Pexto 5/16" Hand Groovers, made by the Peck, Stow & Wilcox Co. from the USA. They measure 5 3/8" long, 1 3/4" wide and 3/4" thick, seem to be in perfect condition and come in the original box. I have had these for years but never used them and have no idea what they are for or how I got them. I used to be a woodworker and suspect that they are used to cut grooves into the edge of a board, but that's a guess. If anyone knows more about them I'll appreciate some info, but they are made of quality solid tool steel and must be good for something.
