Hand Held Ornate Vanity Mirror Cherub Shell Ocean Sculpted Antique VTG Silver? Antique Hand Mirror Very special and unusual We're not sure of the metal on this lovely piece - maybe silverplate? maybe pewter? with what looks like a brass handle. The back is ornately sculpted with a cupid surrounded by sea life on a shell shaped round body. The mirror is framed by a band of beaded design metal. There is a finger hole rather than long handle. The mirror is beveled. There is a very faint pair of letters, which might be a monogram - not obvious - "J.H" Overall Size: 5-1/4" diameter 7" across mirror and handle Condition: Minor scratches on mirror, a tiny strip of cloudiness on the edge. Any wear you see upon careful inspection, is commensurate with age. Please see photographs which show condition accurately.
