Great vintage handmade 2 sided drum. Made with wood and rawhide.Aged and maker unknown.Could be Native American or Scout Related. Came from the Quincy IL Area. Possiblely Saukenauk Scout Thunder Chicken. Order of the Arrow. Eagle motif.Condition is fair. As photographed the tie holding the rawhide onto the drum body has let go in some places causing a thicker appearance on one side of the drum. The hand painting is better on one side than the other. Both sides photographed.Approx size is 8" diameter at edge and 8.5" diameter at outside edge. The drums body has a arched body. It is approx 2.5" in depth.
