I've been painting roses, hydrangeas and ribbon for many years and added the lace edging in 2011. Apparently many of you love the soft Victorian look as much as I. >><< Today I'm offering something very different as you can see. I have in the past painted little leather baby shoes but it's been quite a while. I think they paint up so beautifully! Now I don't recommend that these be worn by babies since sometimes they put their little feet in their mouth, but they would be beautiful as decoration in a little girl's room or on a large size doll. Maybe you could think of another use for these little shoes. They are size 3-1/2 EE and are 5" long and about 2-1/4" wide at the widest point. ><< After properly priming and base painting white, I've painted arrangements of hydrangeas, pink rosebuds and pink ribbon all around. I've edged them in lace on a pink background around the top edge and on the toes. I've laced them up with 1/2" pink organza ribbon. >><< They have been painted with acrylic paints and sealed for protection for many
