The rich pattern incorporates Indian, Persian and Chinese influences. The artwork is highlighted by extensive gold highlights which extend to the cup interior. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. T is a tiny factory indentation in the bottom of the cup and very minor paint loss to the center of the saucer w the cup rests. T is a grey underglaze factory firing imperfection on the reverse of the saucer, see photos. The cup has the puce colored Derby mark of the period, the saucer carries the red mark. Cup size approx. 2 3/4" in height, saucer diameter approx. 5 1/8". A truly stunning set for the early Derby or antique cup and saucer collector. Buyer pays shipping.
