This beautifully handcrafted slim ballpoint pen was turned out of Mexican Bocate wood that was cross cut, which means that the wood was sideways from the way that it is normally turned. Bocate is a naturally yellow brown wood with deep black grain. This pen has chrome plated fittings. This is a slimline style ink pen, which is a very thin pen which is great for people with small hands or anyone with limited hand mobility. -My slimline pens can also be refilled by "cross" style refills that you can find at any office supply store (office depot, staples, etc.). -I include a black velvet sleeve with all of my pens to help protect them from scratches. -I personally make every pen that I sell so everything that I make, including this pen, is one of a kind! If you would like me to make you a pen out of a different kind of wood and you can't find it on my page, feel free to message me and I can make one specifically for you. I love to make special orders because that makes the pen very personal. One of my favorite things to do is to take a piece of wood that is very special to someone, maybe out of an old bard or a tree in their yard, and make them a pen out of it.
