HANDMADE CUSTOM TAK-FUKUTA GRIZZLY - 15" OVERALL - CUSTOM SHEATH - NEW OLD STOCK - COMES IN A PADDED SOFT CASE....IT HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF SHEATH A FEW TIMES .....I THINK THIS WAS MADE BY TAK FUKUTA IN SEKI JAPAN.....Vintage VERY RARE...commissioned TAK FAKUTA..."Tak Blades" prototype for Rigid's "Grizzly" Knife series with very few being produced. (from the 70's?) This full tang 14.75" Stainless Steel Blade is 1/4" thick. It was hand made with hardwood scales (possibly Teak? not sure) with lined lanyard hole, oversized nickel-stainless pins. (obverse has one pin with Bear Paw emblem) and guard with 2 nickel-stainless, 2 red micarta, and one black micarta spacers. Its hand honed 9.25" blade is absolutely razor sharp and embossed with the classic Bear Paw on the ricasso and tang is stamped - Tak Blade's "Grizzly". It comes complete with its handsome original hand stiched brown saddle leather sheath. It appears to have NEVER BEEN USED or shar pened.
