The signature trait of the steel is the watermark. Damascus steel was first created in the Middle East between 900 and 1750. The steel was the solution to a sword that was both extremely hard and soft. This is a combination of one of the best process of sword making and one of the best styles of sword. Attributes of the Weapon: Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed in the lost Damascus Steel folding technique. By hand the sword smith painstakingly stacks and forges individual layers of steel. This technique can be easily seen by the unique patterning of the steel on the blade. Traditionally this wood like grain pattern is known as the water mark. The blade features a black anodized finish and comes very sharp with a full tang design.
