For sale are a pair of totally 100% original homemade and hand painted Locomotives, made around 1900 - These items have never been offered before, having been recently discovered by the family who owned them 114 years ago ! One is named ¨Lord of the Isles¨ 4-2-2 Locomotive (no tender), the other is a ¨G & S W R¨ (Glasgow & South Western Railway) 0-4-0 Tank Locomotive. They are made of a ¨paper maché¨ hardened material and intricately painted and assembled - One funnel is loose as is one lamp (as shown in the pictures). The ¨Lord of the Isles¨ measures 14 cms long, and its ts wheels have a spacing between the flanges of 35 mm, whilst the ¨G & S W R¨ is 13 cms in length, with a wheel spacing between the flanges of 25 mm. Some of the pictures have a camera flash reflection and others were taken without flash.
