This sale is for a handmade modified lighter coated with an alloy containing 90%silver , 5%tin and 5%copper exactly as shown in the pictures above.The item is brand new and has never been lit.The lighter originally was a 2012 brushed chrome zippo lighter .On the lighter's bottom side there is the zippo brandford PA engraving,the letter J and the number 12.The exterior design of the lighter has been created exclusively by me.Some words about the process:First of all I scratched off the outer steel surface of the lighter with a file in order to remove the chrome covering,until the bronze yellow core of the metal appeared.Then after heating the lighter in about 250 Celsius I applied the first layer of the silver welding wire that it is used by jewel craftsmen.The process has been repeated in order to create a thick wall of material around the 5 sides of the lighter (everywhere except the bottom one) and afterwards upon cooling the lighter I applied more material and I created the pattern that you can see in the pictures.After being cooled again the lighter has been sanded by hand with sandpapers of 400grit,800grit,1200 grit so as to make it very smooth and finally 3000 grit which made it so mirror-like bright.The finish of the lighter has been polished with a special silver-polishing cream and rubbed until you read more
