a MOST UNUSUAL pottery head vase or head inkwell , in the form of a black man IN CLOWN PAINT handmade, hand textured and handpainted in the shape of an African American CLOWN man in full clown paint top of head is textured to resemble hair and glazed dark brown, ears protrude slightly from side of head, eyes are closed and have green on the lids and painted eyelashes some of the paint has worn off through the years , sideways blue 'v' on side of neck see photo 3 for possible maker's marks, (Ray PA ?) measures approx. 5" tall X 4" wide , no chops or cracks, just wear COMPLETELY UNIQUE & ONE OF A KIND!
