This auction is for one (1) wall hanging quilt. I purchased this quilt from a hand quilting boutique in Asheville, NC approximately 12-15 years ago. It is not a vintage/antique quilt. It is the traditional Amish pattern called Center Diamond. A very popular and attractive quilt pattern. (But, the quilt is not Amish, to my knowledge.) It is heavily quilted, 100% hand quilting. It is machine pieced and has four loops sewn in the back...ready to hang! A beautiful wall display quilt. The quilting is approximately 8-9 stitches to the inch; well executed quilting. Around the Center Diamond, the quilting is in the diamond pattern and there is extensive feather pattern quilting in the wide borders and also within the Center Diamond itself. Size is approximately 42" square. In excellent condition, lightly used and only as wall hangings. Never laudered or dry cleaned. This wall hanging is part of a matching set. I am selling the other quilt in a separate listing. Both are identical in terms of style, quilting and quilt pattern. The only difference is the color scheme. I will gladly combine shipping if you purchase both quilts.
