This is hands down one of our best T10 swords. The sword is perfectly balanced with crisp geometry. The blade of the sword is capable of taking on multiple mats as well as bamboo. There is slight Nikue to reinforce the blade but it is slight enough to enable very clean cuts. We have cut the pins of our Tameshigiri stand several time with no damaged to the edge and even put the tip into asphalt with only slight chipping. This is by far the toughest sword we have seen. You will not find a better sword for under $300! Detailed Specs of the Katana: Blade : The blade of the Katana has been constructed from T10 in a Maru Lamination. The hamon of the blade has been authentically created and features a strong Gunome pattern and traces of Sanbon-Sugi. The Nie of the hamon is very well defined. There is slight Niku on the blade but the Ha still tapers down to a razor blade sharp edge. The Kissaki is a Chu (medium style) style with a ko-maru turn back. The blade comes full tang and razor sharp. Saya : The Saya features a bull horn Koiguchi, the devil face of Bill, and the seal of Hattori Hanzo. Tsuka : The Tsuba has been constructed from steel alloy with a black finish. The Fuchikashira are antiqued copper. The Tsuka features a double pinned Mekugi and white ray skin Same .
