Handmade Wood Pen "Annie Bump" Concalo Alve/Walnut/Maple Cross Refill 24 Kt Description Well guys and girls, having survived two years now turning pens we still believe in God and Country and wanted to say thanks to our new customers and our old customers for making this possible. Even though we were forced into early and an untimely retirement, our countrys' freedom has allowed us to continue on and hopefully we have a real change comming in Washington for 2012. This pens shape is from a request from a lady that had arthritis and wanted a better end so she won't have to grip it as tight, I must admit it has a great feel and does fit the hand well. I liked it some much I told her I'd call it the "Annie Bump" pen. So a big thank you goes out to Annie. Each pen starts out as a piece of wood which we cut, glue, tube and turn. After several thousand pens we learned a sanding and finishing technique that gives you a very durable finish that is easily maintianed with any non abrasive wax.The end result is a one of a kind,unique pen, that will make a great gift or prize possession for years to come. This pen is made from a nice piece of Concalo Alves with Walnut & Maple accents and has 24 Kt Gold plated Features which highlights the wood.
