This is a fabulous lot of diaries from Verna Flint of New York. She is a very hardworking housewife who constantly bemoans her lot in life! Washing seems to be the bane of her life...she does have maids but they all end up leaving and she calls them “lazy Irish whores”!!! These diaries are full and the entries detailed as to what she does for the day, weather, visitors, food they eat, happenings around town. I have the following years diaries:1889-1890-1892-1893-1894-1899-1900-1903-1904-1905-1906-1907-1908-1909-1911-1912-1914-1916And i also have a diary of her husband from 1898Handwritten Diary Lot.
