Re-listed due to buyer being removed from ebay. Hanhart 17 Steine, Shockproof made in Germany watch. Rare all stainless steel Hanhart German Airforce "flyback" chronograph, one of the all steel models (type 417 ES) with a total production of about 500- 1,000 pieces, very clean example, circa 1950 - 1955. The face is unusual in the layout of the text. The watch is missing it bezel, although I have spoken with Hanhart and they can put me in touch with someone who can supply a replacement. Hanhart 17 jewel chronograph caliber 15 with "flyback" feature, stainless steel screw back case (40mm, no personalized engraving), near perfect black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hands, 2 registers: constant seconds and 30 minute recorder, chronograph center seconds.
