This is a one of a kind Southern folk art moonshine jug series that I, Shelton Hank Williams III am selling.There are only 50 of these for sale and they will be sold in order.This is JUG number 29 of the series~Each jug is signed by me and Clete !The legedary artist who made these by hand is Clete Meaders ~ The Meaders family potters' gained popularity as folk potters from operating with the original methods of making pottery. A southern Appalachian craft requiring knowledge to locate quality clay, digging/processing the raw clay, turning the clay on foot-powered pottery wheels, making alkaline glaze from minerals, firing their ware in brick kilns they built themselves and firing their pottery with wood. The craft took years to acquire and drew interest of those that held respect for the original Appalachian crafts. The Meaders Family kept this southern art form alive. / These jugs will be pro packed and pro shipped so . These are definitely collector item's for all you Hellbilly's and Hellbettie's out there . If you are gonna store and liquid or alcohol in your jug you will 1st need to follow these instructions.You will need to submerge your jug and cork underwater for 2 days before you put any juice in it.You need to do this to even out the moisture, so your jug will be ready to store your juice for the long haul.Enjoy some Southern read more
