Hanoverian George III Teaspoon desirable maker Peter Bateman and Ann Bateman date 1797 London 12 grams (worth approx. £5.60 as scrap!!!) 12 cm long Clear Hallmarks Sterling Lion passant, George III Duty mark and date letter C. Maker's mark PB over AB (slightly rubbed but legible). (Apologies for poor quality of photo's) ~~~~~~ Style - Beautiful Bright-cut engraved Initials B over I .F (in period style font) Condition - Fair/Good, the tip and end of bowl a little out of shape, although still a lovely little spoon for any collection and by a desirable maker of the period ~~~~~~ Low starting price (worth approx. £5.60 as scrap!!!)
