Hans Peter Neidhardt Hand Blown Murano Art Glass Pendant lamp shade.Signed from the Greca Red Series by native Venetian Peter Neidhardt,who studied at the University of Venice and continued on as a professor, influenced by the great glass designer Carlo Scarpa. Neidhardt uses the Murano tradition of which the technique of incalmo isprominent -- the combining of 2 or more formedhot glass pieces as one pendant shade.Size:Diameter: 5" x 6" highHole opening measures 3.5 cmGlass Shade only. Can easily fit on top of desk or table lamp or used as a pendant shade for a hanging light.Vintage from the 80-90sIn great condition with the exception of a very tiny nic by the hole opening which will be concealed when used as a shade.
