Harbour Lights Award Winning Collectible Lighthouses Admiralty Head, Washington HL101 in MINT condition with original Harbour Lights packaging! You are bidding on the retired Admiralty Head, Washington Lighthouse (code HL101). This piece is numbered 5401 and was limited to an edition of 5500 in total. It measures 4" tall and is meticulously crafted to the Harbour Lights standard. It was announced on January 1, 1991 and was retired on December 22, 1994. This is one of only about 500 pieces with the name spelled correctly as about the first 5000 had the flag name mispelled "Admirality Head" or "Admiralpy Head." The piece has not been displayed in the time that I have owned it and was only removed from its original packaging to photograph for this auction. Admiralty Head is located on Whidbey Island in what is now the Fort Casey State Park. It was first lighted in 1861 and served until 1903 when it was moved north. The Washington State Park System acquired the property and light when the U.S. government declared the land to be surplus. It was the first wooden lighthouse in what was then the Washington Territory. This is a great piece! I take meticulous care of my collectibles and this item is in MINT condition. This item has not been displayed and comes from a smoke free environment. Please check the pictures as I have tried to read more
