Up for sale is the remainder of my Kuzu/Kew/Pixyland collection: 5 hard-to-find Kuzu/Kew/Pixyland Lead Zoo/Jungle Animals: the Brown Bear standing on hind legs (same as the Polar Bear casting), the Kuzu No. 46 Running Hound, the Kuzu No. 615 Penguin, the RARE No. 575 Lizard or Komodo Dragon, and the HARD-to-FIND Pixyland Traveling Snake. All the castings are in very good condition with original paint and scattered chips. The snake is in excellent condition. Please see the photographs.KuZu (Cast Metal Toy Animals) was the catalog name for Kew’s Ltd.(Endwell Works, Brockley, London). Kew purchased Pixyland in the early 1930s. The KuZu animal figures and numbers are from KuZu’s catalog of the “Whipnade Collection of Jungle and ‘Wild’ Models” which were the old Pixyland Zoological Series figures. Note the large yellow eyes which was characteristic of that maker.This is a hard-to-find collection of these early Pixyland/Kew/Kuzu figures that you will not see often for sale all together.
