Produced in England by Hardcastle ( Dunhill ). Edmund Hardcastle founded the company and began to produce pipes in 1908. In the 1936 Dunhill it purchased a quote of minority of the firm and in 1946 it also purchased the remaining party of it. The production continued in independent way up to 1967 when the establishment was closed and Dunhill moved the production in the factory Parker (what takings the name of Parker-Hardcastle) next to St. Andrews Road. What the pipes Hardcastle (how Parker and Masta ) can be considered "second lines" of Dunhill (or exemplary not perfect, with defects that cannot be signed from the mother house) is common and very diffused opinion. To this opinion I habitually conform me. It is necessary to specify however that this hypothesis is controversial and it has never been confirmed. The only certainty seems to be that Parker , Hardcastle and Masta belong to Dunhill and the pipes they are produced in the establishment Parker-Hardcastle. Parker and Masta have in common usually forms and numbers of shape. This exemplary is a delicious bent billiard , classical and pleasant shape. Sand-blasted.
