Fredric Effects Harmonic Percolator (HP1) Interfax HP-1 Clone This is an exact clone of the Interfax Harmonic Percolator HP1 overdrive/distortion, an oddball asymetrical clipping pedal popularised by Steve Albini of Shellac / Big Black, using vintage transistors and germanium diodes. This is a great little boutique distortion / overdrive pedal and will give your tone something a little different from the stand Boss pedal brigade. Fredric Effects build excellent boutique quality effects pedals with high grade parts and this is no different. There is an addition switch in this HP1 to disengage the clipping diodes, for a more open overdriven sound, which adds to the versatility of the effect. All parts are the best quality available. True bypass via Alpha footswitch, powered by battery or standard center-neg DC jack (adaptor not supplied), clear orange/red LED. Neutrik jacks. Pots are Alpha. PCBs are fibreglass. Pedals are hand-made & individually tested. The pedal is in good working condition.
