Peoples Coal & Supply Co, Harvey, Illinois on dateline 1-27-1906.. certificate #87:...Very Small Capitalization of $2,500 at $10 ea is Only 250 shares....5 Fabulous Vignettes....George Washington in an ornate oval at left....Abe Lincoln at right....Top center is an Eagle with a ribbon 'E Pluribus Unum' in its beak...13 stars above it..holding olive branch for peace in left talon..& 3 arrows in right..& a star & striped shield on chest.flanked by leaves & a beehive in flowery place beside this on right..& a bundle of wheat & sickle on left...Big Gold Co Seal lower left & wavey gold lines thruout background...ornate corners & borders printed by Bankers Supply Co-Chicago..10 1/4" wide X 8 1/4" tall....Matt Stobbs her husband was Mayor of Harvey, Illinois 5-1-1919 to 4-30-1927...He married Daisy M.Latimer on 6-15-1898...James A. Bates president & George Mann is treasurer..his brother was Dr Anthony Mann the 1st dentist in Hawarden for over 40 years & so highly esteemed that the whole town closed for his funeral hour in respect. Harvey is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States, near Chicago. The population was 25,282 at the 2010 census..Harvey was founded in 1891 by Christian leader Turlington W.
