THIS HEAD WAS COMPLETE RUSTED WITH LOT OF PITTING I SANDED ALL RUST OFF AND MOST PITTING YOU CAN SAND IT ALL OFF IF YOU WISH I THINK IT LOOKS GREAT JUST THE WAY IT IS>READY TO GO TO WORK RIGHT HAND HUNER BEND I used new hickory handle and fit it to head and made wedge. I also steamed handle and gave it a bend.great axe head.I also sharpened the edge with hand stone.very hard steel. . weight 7 lb. .
