This is a beautiful large brooch pin by Hattie Carnegie. It is gold tone with a mother duck feeding her ducklings. They all have Ruby Red Glass eyes. I tried to capture this in my photos but will try to post more with a better close-up. This pin I believe is based on the Boston Common or Boston Public Garden Make Way for Ducklings sculptures. I also believe there is a book by this title that was a winner of the Carnegie Prize for Literature. It's a really special piece.
